And a nice kitchen.
Have had a fantastic day with my fantastic friend, drinking tea and laughing. Sunny Stockholm!
– lit the spark –
Old stuff is a gas. It´s lovely with marks from its past, telling another story than just its mere existence. I love that. I love having battered old books, cookbooks with stains from cooking, a door that has marks from someone growing a few inches per year, a stair case that is smooth and soft after all feet that has travelled up and down it.
And if you don´t know what to do of your weekend (or of your view of love!) – watch Eternal Sunshine on the Spotless Mind. A movie great because of its actors (Carrey delivers when he for once stops turning his face into a monkey´s butt and turns vulnerable) and because of its unconventional portrait of love.
Happy weekend, campers!
Good morning lovers. This is a blink to everyone out there with a phobia for feet and a longing for cuddling. Remember the feeling you had when you were little, when the best smell in the world was that of your home, your Mum and Dad?
Ah. Imagine to have a kid that has the best smell in the world. And the softest feet and toes like small mushrooms.
Can be glorious. They get more glorious, I find, if you plan an outfit the night before, which helps you avoid the dark abyss that is your wardrobe to open before you as you stand there, 6:12, and stares with blank eyes and a bad posture into masses of fabric.
However. Planning your outfit only takes you so far. The hair, the hair. Everyone knows hair is like shoes. No matter what you put on in between, it all boils down to the hair and the shoes – they determine who you are! And my hair doesn´t do much to promote me most days. Whenever I DO make the effort and feel creative, I feel happily confident. This is usually what I aim at:
Reese Witherspoon nailed the bun style!
A lovely mass of locks… Like above or below…
An0ther happy bun!
A neat, slick look with a cute twist on top…
And this loveeely braid, more of that hair, follow the link.
So what to do with hair today….?
