Music is a 24/7 consumtion nowadays – you can constantly walk to whatever beat you choose, creating your own soundtrack designed to fit your mood, your task, your day.
Funny thing how music affects you; just look at any movie and its soundtrack. The energy that goes into the picking of that playlist should be an indicator as to how important the music is to also create a mood – not just fit to one.
